The skiing in Tignes is simply vast with slopes for beginners to expert skiers. Espace Killy connects Val D’Isere with Tignes and by doing so offers 300km of pistes. Tignes is probably the most snow secure resort in the Franch Alps as it got a glacier and summer skiing. There are huge long sweeping runs up on the Grand Motte glacier (3450m) all the way down to Tignes (2100m).

For intermediates there is a good percentage of difficult blues and reds, which are more than enough to keep even an ambitious intermediate challenged for during their Tignes skiing holiday. The trip down to Les Brevieres can be particularly enjoyable, with nice restaurants awaiting you at the bottom.
