Tignes 2011 – 2012 ski season starts

On 1st October 2011, the Grande Motte glacier unrolls/opens its slopes, at a height/altitude of between 3000 and 3500 metres/which are above sea level. Tignes has finnaly opened last weekend though its snowpark remain closed and will hopefully open on October 22nd. Many ski schools are running some October courses on the Grande Motte glacier [...]
